Making Faces – Portraits in Pencil and Paint

People make the best subjects – they are unique, come in a variety of colors and no two are exactly alike.  Join us for an exploration into the portrait.  Learn how to draw eyes, noses and all parts of the face in proportion.  Then discover the essence of a good portrait – capturing the mood or expression on each face.  We will start with drawing and eventually add color, learning about mixing watercolors for various skin tones and techniques for hair textures.

This class is beginner friendly but open to the more experienced artist.  Art is best learned in an atmosphere of encouragement and support.  So come and make faces with us!
