Our Summer Camp program provides financial assistance to eligible families, making camp more accessible for children. Below, you'll find details on the application process, eligibility requirements, and available discounts. Summer Camp Scholarship Details:

Priority is given to IN-DISTRICT residents.

Financial assistance is on a limited, first come first served basis for qualified individuals and is restricted each fiscal year. Currently, scholarships are only available for youth summer 2025 camp registration fees. Once the scholarship fund is exhausted, no further scholarships will be awarded. However, we will keep applications on file for the remainder of the fiscal year (ending June 30th, 2025) in case additional funding becomes available.

Am I in District?

District residents, who support our services through property taxes will see taxes paid to River Road Park District on their annual Lane County property tax statement. Proof of residency is required. If you are unsure, please contact the business office and we can check for you.

Scholarship Assistance:

After paying the $40 camp deposit fee, approved applicants will receive 50% off summer camp tuition, with a $125 cap per year. A maximum of two children per family can apply for a total of $250 in scholarship assistance. Out-of-District residents are welcome to apply and may be eligible for in-district rates, depending on the availability of remaining scholarship funds.

Applicants must provide proof of residency with a valid driver's license. Current documentation from one of the following programs is required:

-            Oregon Trail Card or SNAP (food stamps)

-            WIC Card

-            Free or Reduced Lunch

In-District Application and Award Instructions:

Please allow at least one week for processing after submitting your application before receiving an award notification. If selected, a 50% discount will be applied to the balance due for the first week of camp registration. If there are remaining funds from your $125 award, additional 50% off discounts will be applied to subsequent weeks of camp until the funds are depleted.
