Come and explore color’s qualities and the techniques for using them to make paintings that are an expression of YOU! Discover the secrets of color theory that will enable you to mix the colors you want and create the art you envision. Each week is devoted to an aspect of color such as harmony, mixing and glazing. With time spent practicing, then applying each aspect to a painting, you will find that when colors play well together, they make amazing art! This class will be a great starting point for beginning painters as well as providing new insights for more seasoned artists. Appropriate for either watercolor or acrylics.

Note: If you are new to painting, please come ½ hour early (6p) to the first class for an orientation.
