Entering grades 4-6. Camp Rambler promises you a summer of fun to remember, with some fun hikes and excursions along the way. All camps are held at River Road Park. Permission slip and medical release are required at time of registration. Bring a swimsuit and towel each day. Dress appropriately for the weather and activities. Camp groups will be formed by grade levels. Full week only, no daily fee offered. Drop off at the Skatepark. You may drop off your child as early as 7:30 am and pick-up as late as 5:30 pm. Camp activities begin at 9 am

6/16-6/18- The Great Outdoors 

We are going to kick summer off with hang outside and play in the sun. On Tuesday our fourth-grade group will go hiking at Skinners Butte and Wednesday our fifth and sixth grade group will go hiking at Skinners Butte.

6/23-6/27- Animal Mania 

Run like a cheetah, soar like an eagle. Come explore the world of animals this week at camp and join us on a trip to the Oregon Zoo on Thursday.

6/30-7/3- Hip Hip Holiday 

Let’s celebrate the 4th of July all week long with red, white and blue activities. On Tuesday our fourth-grade group will take a trip to the U of O’s Cultural Museum and on Wednesday our fifth and sixth grade group will take a trip there.

7/7-7/11- Shipwreck 

Ahoy there matey! Let’s sail the 7 seas as we journey through camp this week. On Friday both camp groups will head over to the Echo Hollow Pool for swimming in the afternoon.

7/14-7/18- Exploration Inspiration 

This week campers will be getting creative and using their imaginations to build and craft wonderful, extraordinary creations. On Thursday we will be taking a trip up to Salem to visit the Gilbert House.

7/21-7/25- Midsummer Meltdown 

Summer starting to drag? Let’s get outside, play some games, and have a blast. Then, Friday we’ll be heading to Mt. Pisgah for a fun little hike.

7/28-8/1- Slice it up 

This week we will be cooking some tasty food and treats. On Wednesday our fourth-grade camp will be going to Papa’s Pizza for a behind-the-counter tour and on Thursday the fifth and sixth grade group will be going.

8/4-8/8- Waterworld 

Let’s cool down this week with some chilly water. We will play in the water, have a nice cold cup of lemonade, and take a trip to the Oregon Coast Aquarium.

What happens when you mix glue and contact solution, baking soda and vinegar? This week we will be finding out through experimentation.

5 – Monday – Movie Monday; come to camp dressed as your favorite movie characters.

4 – Tuesday – Tired Tuesday; no need to get dressed today come to camp in your PJs and enjoy a pancake breakfast.

3 – Wednesday – Wonderful Wednesday; lets celebrate all the wonderful adventures we had this summer.

2 – Thursday – Tie Dye Day; bring something white to camp to turn into a fun colorful creation.

1 – Friday – Let’s finish summer out with a strike and head out to the bowling lanes.
